Gilroy is just one of the attractions in the Ngwenya Village. There are stalls with interesting goodies, and things to keep the children amused. Bring the family and make a day of it... "Shades of Ngwenya" where you can watch glass work - from melting in the furnace to glass blowing. The shop has an extensive range of glass products. 
See the magnificent wire and bead craft work done at "Hot Wired". From small knick knacks to light fittings!
 Stroll next door into the delightful "Rosewood" - a jewel box of a shop! Beautiful, indulgent, lavish, exquisite. You will find a gift for someone dear in this quaint little shop.
 The name says it all - "Spoil Yourself". Delicious-looking, great smelling soaps, scrubs, milky bath powders.....ahhh. Heavenly.
Sandy keeps hand made, one of a kind clothing, a range of antique collectables and a sampling of persian carpets.
Down the pathway you are welcomed by Africotta where you can select your hand-made tiles.
 And there then is...
 For the children, Jocks Studio offers the opportunity to get creative. Mom, relax - this mess is not yours to clean up! Sand art and candle dipping are firm favourites.

And right next door, playground equipment for those with more energy to burn!
 Zest not only serves up some great food, they have pony rides for the little ones. While the children are occupied and having fun, relax over a yummy meal.
Succulent slow baked lamb shanks, fresh mussels swimming in cream and wine, decadent slices of home-baked chocolate wedge....

Find original works of art - paintings, sculptures, clothing, cloths - at the charming Asante
 Wander over to the Magpie's Cottage, framed by the jacaranda trees. Scrummage around. Its fun! Find a lovely selection of plants - many indigenous - gifts, toys, baby goodies, even fresh vegetables!
 But watch out for those "Home Treasure" birds along the way.....
